York Bathroom Project

The bathroom ceiling had suffered water damage from the bathroom above.  The shower curtain hides damaged tiles and ancient plumbing.  The wall to the left  includes a "door to nowhere".  The toilet tank was cracked, the sink was chipped. The floor was vinyl, brown and just plain ugly.

The York's were  prepared to completely remodel this small bathroom (approx 5 feet x 8 feet)

A "before" shot
Door to nowhere...removed Gutted Sub-Floor has water damage too

As expected, the sub floor had suffered water damage too.

Hidden Surpise -- poorly constructed wall Sometimes, there are unexpected surprises: the 2x4's behind plaster wall did not come out past the plumbing -- requiring the wall to be reconstructed. (Shown left)

We came in on a Saturday morning to fit the toilet and sink so that the bathroom would be functional on schedule--despite the unexpected need to rebuild the wall.

"It was a pleasure to have J.K.Home Improvements renovate our bathroom.  John came when he said he would and had the job done one time, and on budget."
